The University Library purchases and licenses many large databases containing full text articles from a wide variety of publications. We are committed to providing access via each publication's title in both the Mirlyn online catalog and the University Library's Electronic Journals and Newspapers List. However, due to the large number of publications included in many of these databases, the process of creating entries for each individual publication in the catalog and the Electronic Journals and Newspapers List may take a significant period of time.
Below you will find a list of the major database providers whose full text articles the University Library offers, separated into two tables according to whether their journals have been individually cataloged yet or not. In both tables, database/provider names have been linked to the main page of each database, and, where possible, a link to a contents list for each database has also been included. Notes and the number of full text publications in each database are provided to give you a better idea of the scope and size of the databases.
Until analyzed cataloging of these databases is complete, the only way to know if a given journal is available in one of these databases is to check the database itself. If you are unable to find a particular journal or newspaper in electronic format in Mirlyn or the Electronic Journals and Newspapers List, you may want to check the contents of some of the unanalyzed databases listed in this table to see if the publication you're seeking is available in one of them.
