How do I get books and articles the library doesn't own?
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service which allows you to obtain materials which are not available in the University of Michigan Libraries. Through ILL, you can get books, dissertations, microforms, and photocopies of periodical articles or short sections of books. The average time for requests to arrive is seven days for books and four days for articles.
